Show off that pretty pedicure with fancy flip-flops designed by you!

Flip-flops
Large beads
Nylon or knitting thread
Tapestry needle
Here's how to do it
1. Thread the thread and tie at one end with a double knot.

2. Push the needle up through the end of one of the flip-flop straps.

3. Load all the beads for the strap onto the thread. Push the needle back down through the strap. Pull all the way through, taking up the slack.

4. Tie a tight double knot in the thread.

5. Repeat this process for the other straps.

Flip-flops
Silk flowers
Wire cutters
Glue gun

1. Clip a flower off its stem. Because the stem is no longer holding it together, all the layers of the flower must be glued together.

2. Carefully pull the first layer of petals from the second layer.

3. Put the end of the glue gun into the space you've just made and squeeze a small amount of glue inside.

4. Press the flower back together.

5. Repeat this process for all the other layers.

6. Put glue on the back of the flower and press it firmly onto the flip-flop thong.

You’ll find inexpensive flip-flops at most drugstores; all other supplies can be found at craft-supply stores like Joann and Michaels.
